Andyskopes - Crime Scene
Starts out kind-of Burial-esque, nice but familiar, then the perc rolls in. This!

This is getting closer. At his best, High Contrast combines gorgeous melodies with driving intensity. In my opinion, his most important songs so far have been Seven Notes In Black and If We Ever. I enjoy his dancefloor stuff, but those tunes suggest something grander, a promise of something I still hope to hear.
You might have noticed that both the songs I mention reference film. Seven Notes In Black takes its name from its use of the theme from the 1977 Giallo film, The Psychic (Sette Note in Nero). If We Ever samples the classic film, Network. Mr Barrett clearly loves his cinema.
The best of High Contrast so far anticipates a masterwork we may never meet. This song suggests the best is yet to come. This song is a bridge:
What is great in man is that he is a bridge and not a goal: what is lovable in man is that he is an over-going and a down-going.
